Huckleberry Baby Birth Services also provides birth doula support. There are few things in life as special as welcoming your new baby into the world. We understand that at Huckleberry Baby and our role is to come along-side you and your partner with expertise, compassion and zero agenda to help you create the experience you desire.

Worried you won't know what is normal and what is not as your labor progresses? We're here to guide you every step of the way.

When you hire Huckleberry Baby you will receive:

  • 2 prenatal meetings to help you prepare emotionally and physically for birth. Every client has different wants and needs but the meetings will likely entail:
- discussing your pregnancy so far
- discussing how you envision your ideal birth
- discussing what role you would like me to play as your doula
- practicing relaxation and coping techniques to use during labor
- getting to know you, your preferences and how I can best meet your needs
  • Phone, text, and email support from time of hire until 4 weeks after your birth
  • Access to my lending library of pregnancy, birth and parenting books
  • 24/7 availability for your birth from 38 weeks until baby arrives.
  • Continuous labor and birth support for the duration of your delivery
  • 1-2 hours support immediately after delivery
  • 1 follow up visit postpartum for 1-2 hours. This can include:
- processing your birth experience
- help with breastfeeding
- help with baby
- answering any questions you may have
- providing photos from your birth if any were taken
- delivery timeline notes of your birth

​Cost: $850

Inviting someone to join your birth team is not something to be taken lightly. We get that, so we offer free consults to be able to meet in person and discuss any questions you have prior to making a commitment. 

Placenta Encapsulation


​Huckleberry Baby Birth Services is excited be the first to bring placenta encapsulation services to McCall and the surrounding areas.  If you are looking to balance your hormones, boost your energy, or speed your recovery time, placenta encapsulation may be for you. Our services include:

Professional Service - As professionally trained Postpartum Placenta Specialists quality, dependability and respect infuse every aspect of our business. 

Convenience - We understand that you are busy, sleep deprived new parents so we do everything we can to work around your schedule. We want to make the process as easy and simple for your family as possible. We come to you on two consecutive days for approximately 2 hours each day, provide all the supplies needed for the process and leave you with a sparkling clean kitchen.

High Standards - We hold ourselves to the highest standards in the industry when it comes to handling your placenta so you can rest assured that you are in the best hands every step of the way. Our training includes a blood borne pathogens certification and our procedures follow OSHA food safety guidelines. Your safety is our highest priority.

Transparency - Since we encapsulate in your home, you can witness every step of the process. You can observes the safety of our methods and have peace of mind knowing that there is no chance of a mix-up or cross-contamination occurring during the process. 

Care - We truly care about you and your well being. We will be available to talk about any questions or concerns you may have prior to, during or after the encapsulation.

Cost - Our encapsulation package is $250. This includes all supplies including a transport kit that provided by your 37th week of pregnancy and our promise of a sparkling clean kitchen when we are finished.

​Our curriculum provides you with an unbiased, evidence-based childbirth class to leave you and your partner feeling prepared and confident for your upcoming birth experience.
Your Home
Private, in-home classes save you time and hassle in commuting to a class, and provide an added level of comfort to be learning in your own familiar space.

Your Schedule
We get that schedules can be crazy but we don't want that to keep you from getting the quality childbirth preparation you are seeking. With private classes, we are able to work with YOUR calendar.

Your Class
Private classes mean more time to address your specific needs or questions. They also allow you to choose which areas you most want to focus on, whether its the full range of material, just refreshing on some techniques before your next birth or something in between.
